Hi Raine, I am one of those who has just stumbled onto your page (I searched for fountain pens and your page was right at the top...I love fountain pens). I was just reading a few of your posts and enjoyed it :) I don't hold myself to my TBR. I use it as a reminder of books I might want to read once my current book is finished. I simply read next whatever takes my interest in the moment. Sometimes it's not even on my TBR, haha. And this year I have read 35% fiction-65% non-fiction, with my fiction lately being fantasy and one murder mystery :) Thanks for the post!
I’ve just completed my annual rereading of Becoming Duchess Goldblatt, a memory told in fiction by Anonymous. I lean hard into memoir, fiction and books about the craft of writing.
I just bought 3 at an authors mart. One time travel, 2 poetry. Already had a rom com and 3 meant to be read gradually piece by piece. Favorite is time travel or historical fiction.
Hi, Raine ~ currently I'm reading All the Beauty in the World by Patrick Bringley. It's a memoir, which is not a genre I've ever gravitated towards. The writing is just so beautiful and the subject so interesting. I have always been a fiction gal and my usual go-to's for the past 6 or 7 years have been rom-coms and romantasy, with cozy mysteries thrown in for a little intrigue. My choices morphed as my parents began having serious health issues in late 2019, then quarantine happened. Now with the news being so very disturbing, I find I need lightness and humor more than I ever used to. Thanks. This was fun to think about.
Thanks for your comment, Roseanne. (I didn’t realize that in doing this I’d end up adding to my TBR. Guess I should have seen it coming. Thanks for the recommendation.)
I, too, am reading Chronicles of Narnia! On deck are a number of CS Lewis having enrolled in a Life and Writings of CS Lewis class plus 4 fiction. One a LeCarre novel, a sequel to his book I was reading just prior to reading a certain Irish story that referenced LeCarre 😘.

Welcome, Reece. And thank you for sharing your TBR data!

I need to add the Duchess to my pile. Thanks for your data. Muah!
I insist!!!
My choice of books is rather eclectic. Favourites are magic and mystery.
Thanks, Madelyne! I love magical books, too. And some mysteries, although I’m no good at working them out!

Thank you, ma'am.

Thanks for the input. A book that referred to another book? How meta. (tee) Meet me in the Wardrobe later and we’ll find a faun to give us tea.
And may it be Spring!! I love you so!
OOH! That would be exciting! Love you back!
3 fiction (1 by a friend), one non fiction.
